Account Termination Rules
An account may be closed or have permissions suspended if it reaches an applicable loss limit, breaches trading or account rules, fails a review, or is closed by the user. Instant has no maximum daily loss; 2-Step maximum account loss is 8%–10%, depending on the purchased plan. See Maximum Daily Loss and Maximum Account Loss for trigger rules.
After a termination condition is met, the system may block new positions, cancel open orders, and close existing positions. It then settles P&L, trading fees, and funding fees from actual executions and updates the account status. The final closing price and equity are shown in account records.
What Happens to Profits?
| Situation | Treatment |
|---|---|
| A payout request was submitted successfully before closure | It continues through review; approval depends on the final result. |
| A 2-Step or 1-Step funded account closes | Profits without an existing payout request cannot be requested afterward. |
| Instant closes normally and meets product conditions | A final settlement payout may be created; any amount already locked in a request is not counted twice. |
| Instant closes because of a risk rule breach | Profits without an existing request are not settled. |
An account is frozen after 15 consecutive days without any account activity. The freeze starts a 15-day appeal period. If no appeal is submitted by the deadline, or the appeal is denied, the account is closed and reclaimed by the platform. This rule applies to 2-Step, 1-Step, and Instant. See Account Status, Review, and Eligibility for the complete process.
After closure, trading and new payout requests are unavailable. Challenge account profits cannot be paid out. Check the account page for eligible funded account amounts and any existing request's status.
WARNING
Before voluntarily closing a funded account, check profits that have not been requested and the status of any payout already in progress. You cannot submit a new request after closure.
If you believe the termination basis, executions, or account data are incorrect, submit the relevant records under Issue Review and Appeals.
